Course Objective

The CBRM® Practitioner Qualification is intended for the intermediate-to-advanced Business Relationship Manager, as it focuses on advancing to the role of Strategic Business Relationship Manager. As such, the primary focus is on strategic business relationship management, leveraged to optimize business value to the enterprise.

The candidate will demonstrate deep understanding and ability to perform the Strategic BRM role. Specifically, the candidate should be able to:

  5. Partner Value Hierarchy technique, as part of Relationship Discovery
  6. The use of an Organizational Relationship Improvement Plan, as part of Relationship
    Maturity and Quality

Module 5: Drive Value

  1. Elements of the Drive Value Capability Framework, Idea Document, Value Plan
  2. Role of the BRM in Value Realization, during Value Results, in Value Optimization
  3. Roles and Responsibilities for Enabling Value

Module 7: BRM Role

    communications
  6. Techniques relating to Organizational Conditions, specifically Relationship Agility

Module 9: Limitless Growth and Improvement

  1. Use of a Balanced Scorecard and characteristics of a strong measurement program
  2. Use of BRM Capability Performance measurement and metrics
  3. Use of BRM Results Dashboard
  4. Different measurement techniques, outputs and metrics

Module 10: Relationship-Centered Organization

  1. The different components of the RCO Blueprint
  2. Application of the RCO Principles to RCO Behaviors
  3. The components of a Relationship-Centered Organization, the characteristics of an
    organization that has growth mindsets versus fixed mindsets and use of the RCO Blueprint
  4. The nine Principles of a RCO, their rationale, behaviors and implications, and application to
    RCO Behaviors

Exam & Certification

Multiple Choice format – Paper Based and Online Certification The certification exam is included with the registration. It consists of 4 questions worth 20 marks each, giving a maximum of 80 total marks. The exam is scenario based and the duration is 2.5 hours. Students must get 40 (50%) or more of the questions correct to pass the exam. Students will need the CBRM Guide to the BRM Body of Knowledge to use as a reference source during the exam. No other materials are permitted. One official sample exam will be provided during the course.

How do I take the exam?

TaUB Solutions will request the examinations together with your registration. The exam will be taken at the end of the course. Results are available within 5 working days.
